Award winning artist, obtained a BA honours Degree in Painting and Printmaking and also a PGCE
in teaching. I paint most days working from my gallery on the fringe of the Peak District.
This rural environment provides my artistic stimulation, to translate my passion for nature onto the canvas.

Commissions
My Labradors are the inspiration for my animal studies, I use a combination of vibrant colour and expressive brush strokes to reveal and capture the unique personality of my subject. I am happy to consider commissions in most subjects – ideally where possible I like to meet my subject to discover at first hand the ‘personality’ for my painting.

Giclée Prints
My Giclée prints are high-quality digital prints made with archival inks printed on canvas and presented on a wooden box stretcher. They are ready to hang offering vibrant colours good details, and exceptional longevity. My chosen original painting is first scanned to achieve the highest quality image possible for this process.

A Selection of Original Paintings
I paint my Original paintings on a deep edge box canvas where I continue my painting around the edges or alternatively a traditional standard canvas suitable for a frame. A box Canvas can also be framed should my customer prefer this option.

2024 SAA Artist Of The Year
My painting “Show Hydrangeas” has progressed to the final round of the 2024 Artists of the Year competition! Out of over 1900 entries, and has been selected as one of the top 100 finalists, showcasing exceptional talent and creativity. My painting was “Highly Commended” and will be exhibited at The Nottingham Society of Artists Gallery on Friar Lane, Nottingham from 1st – 6th October 2024
